Though Judy has lived many thousands of places and found herself in as many puppeteer hands, her partnership with Will King and Gary Peterson began in 1975.

It was then that Judy decided that since her husband, Mr. Punch, spent most of his time on the couch, and since she had to do everything herself anyway, “I do the cooking. I do the cleaning. I build the puppet shows!” In a flash of inspiration, she said to herself, “I’ll just start The Judy Theatre!”

Every once in a while she manages to get her husband off the couch to take part in the puppet shows. But mostly she depends on her stage manager, Pops Tomato, a retired green grocer, to help her with her lavish stage and TV productions.

Judy and The Judy Theatre visit gatherings such as company holiday parties and birthdays with “The Awards Show” done live and in puppet. She presents suitable-for-framing award certificates to everyone. The citations inscribed on the awards are tailored to their most embarrassing prat falls or funniest foibles.

Judy has also appeared on local television in New York, San Francisco, and now The Florida Keys with her three Talk/News half hour shows; The Condo Show, Biking and Boating. The programs feature life on The Keys.

Judy likes to remind everyone that there is a little bit of Judy in all of us.
